Your browser does not support the video tag. 2026: The WorldCup Logo to Rule'em All I was informed FIFA called for volunteers for the World Cup logos and I replied I was interested in collab. 'They'll allow you to explore the brand', I was told. 'When will it be in the US?', I asked. Project Date B4 2006 The Challenge I designed it to break from previous WorldCups' patterns. The games were actually going to take place in three different countries; United States, Canada and Mexico. Then it should be as simple as to allow for diverse colored patterns applications and expand into a system. A Dynamic Brand-New Design for a New Sportswear Brand While I was designing Trionda TM and the FIFA World Cup 26 TM logo , I knew that Adidas was negotiating with FIFA about making their championship balls while also producing cleats, and I self-initiated working on a redesign of their Trefoil logo. Top and Above: TryOn TM  sports brand design, Adidas Trefoil redesign, and  TryOn TM  symbol combined with the Adidas signature. Project Date B4 2006 The Challenge Adidas had that cool vintage design in sneakers and jackets worn by club-goers all over the world, and I thought that if they got into Sportswear beyond their training suits, they would do better with an alternative logo for their sportier products and sneakers. FIFA World Cup 26 TM Ball While I was designing FIFA World Cup 26 TM logo , I knew they also offered a similar collab opportunity for the ball design. I could retain the rights to sell it and, unlike the logo, it didn't change every two years. Project Date B4 2006 The Challenge How do I create a ball design that produces less surface contact resistance and is uniquely recognizable? The design should also allow for different collors and patterns. Project Role Product Design , Naming ,  Branding , Visual Identity My Approach The FIFA World Cup 26 TM games were actually going to take place in three different countries; United States, Canada and Mexico, so the design started from a triagular shape, which also influenced on the product name choice: Trionda TM .
