A Dynamic Brand-New Design for a New Sportswear Brand While I was designing Trionda™ and the FIFA World Cup 26™ logo , I knew that FIFA was negotiating with partners about making their championship balls while also producing cleats, and I started working on a sportswear brand. Adidas was also in talks with FIFA, then, at the same time, I self-initiated working on a redesign of their Trefoil logo. Top and above: TryOn™ sports brand design, Adidas Trefoil redesign, and TryOn™ symbol combined with the Adidas signature. FIFA TM Logo Rebrand While I was designing FIFA World Cup 26 TM logo , I missed a FIFA recognizable logo signature that could go along the World Cup brands. As I've started to design it, I though of presenting it separtely before the 2026 World Cup application. Project Date B4 2006 The Challenge Organizing sports championships, FIFA TM lacked a imediately recognizable logo that could stand alone and also pair well with different World Cup brand designs. Project Role Branding , Visual Identity , Rebrand My Approach Sports logo are often in italic bold lettering, but regular type worked better when paired with the World Cup fancy logos. The solution was an inclined cut on the edges of the 'F' letter horizontal dashes, with its angles folowing the 'A' letter shape. Above: FIFA TM logo applied on diverse complex illustrations. FIFA World Cup 26 TM Ball While I was designing FIFA World Cup 26 TM logo , I knew they also offered a similar collab opportunity for the ball design. I could retain the rights to sell it and, unlike the logo, it didn't change every two years. Project Date B4 2006 The Challenge How do I create a ball design that produces less surface contact resistance and is uniquely recognizable? The design should also allow for different collors and patterns. Project Role Product Design , Naming ,  Branding , Visual Identity My Approach The FIFA World Cup 26 TM games were actually going to take place in three different countries; United States, Canada and Mexico, so the design started from a triagular shape, which also influenced on the product name choice: Trionda TM . Studies for Trionda TM design also resulted in Brazuca TM , which would be released before it. © Alex Webb. Get in contact for negotiating usage rights. Copyright protects creators. < home

Menstrual Collector Cup I've been long concerned about finding non-polluting alternatives to disposable menstrual pads and tampons, which take years to decompose in the environment. Besides the environmental harm, alarmig warning reports come out that they could contain toxic materials inside an item used in direct contact with the vagina. Project Date ~2000-2005 The Challenge Washable cloth pads made from spare pieces of fabric were the first generation of commercial alternatives to disposable pads, with which I've been also involved during its creation. But they are not much practical if one need to wear a bikini, tight light-colored pants or when exercizing. Inspired by the contraceptive IUD method, I was working on a contraceptive cup project when I realized this could be inverted and used as a menstrual collector. Project Role Product Design , Naming ,  Branding , Visual Identity My Approach I experimented with 3 versions for a handle; stem, ball and ring. As ball and ring...
